Expandable and Customizable Workgroup DAM
MediaBox is the ideal off-the-shelf Digital Asset Management system for 5-20 seat work-groups, providing support for a comprehensive list of essential media work-flows ready to integrate.
We’ve put a lot of effort on building a core solution that solves the essential media management problems from ingest to manage to distribute. We have also put equal amount of time on building an integration infrastructure that allows the core to be expanded and customized based on customer needs.
MediaBox uses the same flexible infrastructure as the enterprise Portal DAM. This includes the Portal Apps and Themes support.
Your Own DAM
MediaBox is an OEM product and is sold through our partners. The Apps and Themes infrastructure allows our partners to extend and rebrand the solution in to their own DAM solution, customized for the end-customers.
White Labeling – Themes
MediaBox comes with a complete tool-set that provides interface manipulation. This can be used to tweak the look and feel of the existing interface for individual users or groups, or even to completely re-brand and white label the interface.
Extending – Apps
The MediaBox open-ended approach enables our partners to expand the system with new feature sets and integration points for their customers’ needs. The ecosystem of partners and their in-house developed Apps and the native Cantemo Apps together create a virtual ground where partners meet to exchange solutions and experience.

Migration
Migration from existing solutions is a key part of MediaBox. We don not believe that legacy necessarily means dead-end. Instead, with our partners as lead, MediaBox can take the customers forward with an open and unlimited route to growth and flexibility.
We provide support for 2 approaches:
1. One-off migration from the legacy system in to MediaBox – using migration scripts for importing content, metadata and access rights.
2. Building an integration layer to existing legacy systems.
Both migration methods can be implemented by partners using the Apps infrastructure, and also be offered to multiple customers.
An article written by one of our partners that describes the first approach for migrating from Final Cut Server to Portal DAM can be found here.
